An estimate. The size assumes every input and output uses the address type you chose, and your wallet shows the exact size and fee before you confirm. An exchange may charge its own withdrawal fee instead. For Ethereum and similar networks, use the Crypto Gas Fee Calculator.
A transaction fee on Bitcoin is the size of the transaction multiplied by the going rate for block space.
Short answers on network fees and on what this calculator counts.
It is the fee you pay to the network to have a transaction included in a block. On Bitcoin it goes to the miner who adds the block, and it is paid in the coin itself. It is separate from the trading fee or the withdrawal fee an exchange charges.
Multiply the size of the transaction in vBytes by the fee rate in satoshis per vByte. A payment from a Native SegWit address with 1 input and 2 outputs is about 141 vB. At 10 sat/vB that is 1,410 satoshis, or 0.0000141 BTC. With Bitcoin at ₹90,00,000 the fee is ₹126.90.
The number of inputs and outputs, and the type of address, not the amount of money. Inputs are the earlier receipts your wallet spends, and outputs are usually the payment and your change. The same payment is about 141 vB from a Native SegWit address and 226 vB from a Legacy one, and each extra Native SegWit input adds 68 vB.
It depends on how busy the network is and how soon you need the transaction confirmed. A higher rate is picked up sooner, and a rate that is too low can leave a transaction waiting for hours or longer. Your wallet suggests a rate before you confirm, and the table on this page shows what other rates would cost.
Most exchanges charge a withdrawal fee that they set themselves, often a fixed amount of the coin, and it can be higher or lower than the network fee at that moment. This calculator works out the network fee only, so check your exchange's fee page for what it charges. For Ethereum and similar networks, use the Crypto Gas Fee Calculator.
Generally not. India allows only the cost of acquisition as a deduction against crypto profit, so network and other fees do not reduce the taxable amount. Check your own position with a tax professional, and use the India Crypto Tax Calculator for the tax on a sale.
