Estimates only
Every result is an estimate worked out from the figures you enter and from the rates and rules built into the page. The real amount can differ because of things the calculators do not cover, such as your other income, exemptions and reliefs, fees charged by your exchange, and how your tax authority treats your case.
Tax rules change
Tax rates, thresholds and rules differ from country to country and change over time. A page may not reflect the latest change. Check the current rules with the official tax authority for your country, or with a tax professional, before you file or pay.
Trading and risk
Crypto prices can move sharply, and you can lose some or all of the money you put in. Trading with leverage can lose money quickly. The leverage, margin, liquidation and futures calculators use simplified formulas, and each exchange applies its own, so check the figures your exchange shows before you trade.
Prices and other inputs
The calculators do not show live prices. Prices, supply figures, fee rates and other inputs are whatever you type in, so check them against a current source.
The converter pages and the Bitcoin, Ethereum and Altcoin Investment Calculators can fetch a live price from CoinGecko. It is a market price gathered across exchanges, it can be a few minutes old, and it may differ from the price on your own exchange.
