The short version

The calculators and converters on this site run in your browser. The figures you type are not sent to us, and you do not need an account. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.

Who we are

This site is run by Lumara (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at crypto@lumara.chat.

What you type into a calculator

Prices, amounts and other figures you enter are worked out on your own device by the page itself. They are not sent to our servers or to anyone else, and we cannot see them.

The converter pages can fetch a live price. That sends the name of the coin you chose to a price service, as described below. It does not send the amount.

What is kept on your device

Two small items may be saved in your browser’s storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.

• Your theme. If you switch between light and dark, the choice is remembered for your next visit.
• Your last trade. After you use the India Crypto Tax Calculator, the buy price, sell price and quantity are remembered for that browser tab, so the Crypto Profit Calculator can offer to reuse them. They are removed when you close the tab or choose Reset on that calculator.

The Cookie Policy lists these in more detail.

What servers and other services receive

As with any website, loading a page sends your IP address and basic browser details to the server that delivers it, and that server may keep routine logs for security and troubleshooting.

The pages also load a few files from other services. Your browser asks those services for the files directly, so they receive the same kind of technical details, and their own policies apply:

• Google Fonts, for the typefaces. See the Google Privacy Policy.
• jsDelivr, for the charting library on the pages that show charts. See the jsDelivr privacy policy.
• CoinGecko, for live prices on the converter pages and the Bitcoin, Ethereum and Altcoin Investment Calculators. Your browser asks for a price only when you press Convert or Get Live Price, never when a page opens, and the request names the coin, not the amount. See the CoinGecko privacy policy.

If you email us

If you write to crypto@lumara.chat, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply to you and to deal with your request.

Your choices

• You can remove the saved items at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
• You can ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing crypto@lumara.chat. Because the calculators do not send us what you type, this will usually be only the emails you have sent us.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site handles information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
